What happens next?

Once we’ve reviewed your inquiry and agreed a date to meet our creative cogs will spin into gear. Based on the information you provide we’ll aim to bring some initial ideas to the table to the design session where we’ll also aim to understand your creative requirements.

Next up we’ll:

  1. Schedule your appointment

    1. Virtually or in person (location dependant)

  2. Research your requirements

  3. Prepare some design concepts for our initial consultation

  4. Discuss special requests/requirements with you

  5. Understand your budget for the build

  6. Suggest materials and hardware specifically for your piece

  7. Aim to provide you with quotes within 24hrs of consultation

Great, but what happens then?

If you decide to commission Fettle Furniture to craft your next heirloom bespoke to your requirements, we will:

  1. Take a 50% deposit based on the agreed quote. This secures your commission.

  2. We’ll formalise design decisions and provide you with design drawings to your specification for sign-off.

    1. Please note that once finalised any changes/additions made during the build process may incur additional costs and delay the build.

  3. We’ll issue you a build number and advise you when we’ll likely be able to start your piece.

  4. We’ll include you along the process, sharing grain patterns with you, giving you the chance to choose those extra details.

  5. We’ll reach out to you in good time to arrange delivery of your pieces to make sure you’re going to be in.

  6. The remaining 50% is payable on the day of delivery.

  7. We’re here for aftercare questions and on-hand to help you care for and maintain your newest heirloom.
